In order to start with your craft, you have to order a canvas that is ready made from any craft store you come across. Choose whatever size you would want to start working on. If you are a novice, you may want to start with the smaller frames. This would be great for learning while having fun.

Once you have the frame with you, it is ready to use as it is. You can work with either a blank canvas or a colored one. There are solutions that you can use to paint the background. Prime it with a touch of another color. It will dry very quickly if you use a certain kind of acrylic.

Another avenue to pursue are the board types. They are pretty cheap and can will be easy to layer over another medium with on your board. It supports people who are carrying a limited amount. Choose a type of solution over the material where you can just use a small amount to spread across.

Decide if you wish to use the oil or acrylic type. Some do not contain strong odors and are easy to manipulate. What is good about these products is the fact that it dries faster than the others. It can also be layered over by another color if you need to cover your flaw.

Although, oils are not designed this way and they can turn out to be opposite of what you expect. It takes longer for them to dry and they fume out a strong odor. They do not permit the owner to top over another layer of color. It is not very convenient to be utilized by struggling artists.

If it is difficult for you to choose a color, take out the color wheel and rest it on top of your easel beside all your brushes. Pick the most basic ones and improve with the loud colors. This wheel will aid you determine the right colors that complement each other.

Before you pick up the brush, think of a specific object or a beautiful scene. Do not be specific on the details or the potential outcome just linger on the picture in your mind. If you stare at an object, do not limit your vision to how it stands but how it will look like to the audience.

If in your heart you think it is done, you can just stop there. Do not try to improve it or make major adjustments. It looks good if it shows how the artist thinks at that moment. There will be different interpretations to different people who will view the art. Silk painting supplies are great tools to create wonderful paintings.
